About the event

Wilderness Survival Camps invites you to join them as they hike through Highlands Hammock State Park and learn about edible and medicinal plants, fruits, and mushrooms. The foraging hike will be led by a State Park ranger. This information is essential for remnant people who plan to be translated.

Bring a camera, notebook and pens/pencils and colors. Park rules apply and no plants can be picked or removed from the park.

Dogs are allowed on the hike in accordance with park rules. Please keep your dog on a lead.

Bring a brunch item that can be served cold. Bring a serving utensil. A picnic pavilion will be reserved for our use. Also bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, insect repellent, hand sanitizer, and water.

This is a child-friendly activity, however, parents and guardians are responsible for the care and safety of their children.

The $20 covers the park entrance fee and pavilion rental. $20 per car. Please consider supporting our ministry by including a donation with your registration fee. Thank you.
