About the event
This camping trip will help to train you in outdoor camping, backpacking, and hiking skills. We've reserved the whole campground so that we will not be disturbed. There will be a short hike, foraging, fire building, and camp cooking. Water purification, knives, hygiene, and other survival skills will be taught.
RV slots are available.
There are restrooms (port-a-loos) but no showers. Bring your own drinking water.
Dogs are allowed.
Each campsite has a picnic table and a fire ring.
Use "Leave No Trace" Principles:
- Plan ahead and prepare
- Dispose of trash and litter properly - Keep campsites clean
- Minimize campfire impacts - Clean fire ring after use
- Respect wildlife and be considerate of other visitors
You'll need to prepare your own meals. Bring adequate water.
